Buying Guide: What to Look for in a 65 Inch TV Under $500
When shopping for the best 65 inch TV under $500, there are several critical factors to consider:
1. Display Technology
LED TVs are widely available and offer good brightness and color accuracy. However, if you’re looking for better contrast and deeper blacks, consider an OLED, though they might be hard to find under $500.
2. Resolution
Ensure the TV has at least a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). This ensures clarity, especially for larger screens, providing a better viewing experience for movies and gaming.
3. Smart Features
Most new TVs come with built-in smart features. Look for models that offer popular streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video without the need for external devices.
4. Connectivity Options
Check for multiple HDMI ports, USB ports, and Ethernet connections. Having various options makes it easier to connect gaming consoles, sound systems, and other devices.
5. Sound Quality
Audio quality can significantly affect your viewing experience. Many TVs have mediocre built-in speakers, so consider investing in a soundbar if sound quality is a priority for you.
6. Reviews and Ratings
User reviews can provide insight into the TV’s real-world performance, reliability, and customer service.
